In hindsight, I think I could have gone with a lesser stop filter and shorter exposure to maintain more detail in the water.

Simple Pleasures

Although I was enjoying being near Lake Superior and Split Rock Lighthouse, this single pussy willow bush caught my attention.

My Uncle Bob

Several years ago I made a documentary about my Uncle Bob.  Earlier this week, he passed away and I am feeling the loss of this unique and interesting man.  He was a creative genius, artist and ran an apple orchard to name just a few of his qualities.

Winter Grove

A tree farm perhaps.  Several acres of trees planted in tidy rows.

Small Things

The detail that nature creates for our enjoyment is always a source of amazement to me.  Frost and snowflakes are just two of the incredible ways winter manifests itself for our entertainment.
