This week I am in Blaine, Minnesota with camera in hand capturing the action at what is billed as the largest youth soccer tournament in the western hemisphere. Teams from Minnesota, the United Sates and all over the world converge on this location for competition, fun, pin trading and a chance to learn about our beautiful state. As usual, we are having some of our hottest weather of the summer during the event. But the action goes on and everyone is having a blast.

Staying Focused
While wandering around on Artist Point in Grand Marais I came upon a pile of rocks that had, at one time, been an inukshuk. Whether natural or human, it was now just a loose grouping of interestingly shaped rocks that were begging to be worked with. I was happy to oblige.

Bridge #7
There are seven bridges that cross Amity Creek in Duluth. Follow Occidental Blvd, which is just west of N 60th Ave E and Superior St E, it will become Seven Bridges Road as you cross the first of the seven bridges.
