The light on Wisconsin Point at the entrance to the Superior Entry to the harbor shared by Superior and Duluth. This location is also the original mouth of the St. Louis River where it flows in to Lake Superior.
From a late September outing to Amnicon State Park in northern Wisconsin.
If not for the swarms of vicious mosquitos, this would have been a very enjoyable location to sit and relax for awhile.

I had to travel some back roads in Wisconsin the other day and, of course, I had my camera bag with me. The further south one goes, the more fall color you’ll see. On this particular day, there was little if any breeze and the lakes and ponds were marvelously still. So, take a little trip down an October road with me. Oh yeah, if you’ve seen my work before, you know things might get interesting.
