Once again, if nature provides the subject, who am I to not document the beauty?

When The Sun Sets

Evening light highlights the clouds which are reflected in the still waters and enhancing the composition of light, sky, cloud and shoreline.

Reflections On A Lake

Water.  It’s life giving, a retreat, a place to float under the sun, a place to fish and so much more.  And, at times, it can be a mirror to reflect land and sky.  Most of my life has been spent living on the shore of a lake, near a creek or river or close enough to be impacted by its presence.  I have seen water in its various forms throughout the seasons.  I am at home near water.  When the surface of water is calm, it gives the viewer a chance to look down into the sky, rather than up, it’s like a trip through the looking glass.

Solar Effects

Usually, shooting into the sun is not recommended, but I kind of like the effect in this image.  It’s bursting with energy, pouring it down out of the sky.
