Like A Spider
I’m reminded of a spider working its way down a slender strand of web to reach a distant destination in its smaller world. Although, this world was a bit bigger, as was the spider.
On The Edge
Smith Rock State Park is world famous for its rock climbing opportunities and there was no shortage of participants out the day I was there. This particular climber got my attention as he negotiated the edge of the cliff.

What Does The Eye See?
Along the Deschutes River in Bend, Oregon is an area of softer volcanic rock that has been worn away by the action of water and spinning rocks, creating potholes. This is a common feature along many rivers, including the St. Croix on the Minnesota and Wisconsin border. The interplay of shape and light tricks the eye into imagining most anything…so what do you see?
